THE COURTHOUSE JAZZ SERIES, presented by SANTA BARBARA BANK & TRUST

Courthouse Jazz Series: Season Two is proud to be back for 2008!  This music series will be held in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara and host various local & regional Jazz ensembles spanning Blues, Contemporary and R & B. 

 

The Courthouse Jazz Series will occur the last Friday of every month starting May 23rd through September and is open to the public FREE OF CHARGE. 

 

Central to its function, each month the Courthouse Jazz Series will feature and benefit a different non-profit or charity.  The open venue and free admission will provide the entire community an opportunity to enjoy Santa Barbara’s beautiful surroundings while listening to great musicians and supporting Santa Barbara’s vital non-profit’s and charities.  Non-profit's income is rewarded from food and beverage sales, so please help support and enjoy a beverage!

Partnering with the Courthouse Jazz Series as a Sponsor, Non-profit, Charity or Business means that you are supporting the cultural tradition of philanthropy that is the heritage of Santa Barbara.  You will be providing the opportunity for all Santa Barbarans to participate in a culturally enriching and fulfilling community event.  You will also assist in creating awareness and support for our invaluable non-profits and charities as well as providing the occasion for anyone in the community to participate in the support of our local non-profits and charities.

The luxurious VIP Terrace includes cocktail service, prime stage viewing, complimentary buffet and comfortable seating. 
(Terrace admission does not guarantee seating without booth reservation below)

VIP Terrace MultiPak:  $200.00 (buy 4 events, get 1 free; savings of $50)
     -Good for 5 guests to 1 event, 1 guest to 5 events or any combination therein.

Access to the VIP Terrace is limited and can only be purchased at the event with valid ID.

Reserved VIP Terrace Booth with Bottle for the series:  $2,000.00 (buy 4 events, get 1 free; savings of $500.00)

Reserved VIP Terrace Booths are VERY limited and must be purchased in advance.

COURTHOUSE JAZZ SERIES FACTS

Location:  Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunken Gardens
On Anapamu between Anacapa and Santa Barbara Streets

Dates:  Every fourth Friday night begining May 23rd

 

Time:  5pm to 8pm

 

Admission:  Open to the Public FREE OF CHARGE

Food & Soft Beverages: Available for purchase with cash. Proceeds benifit the featured non-profit.

 

Alcoholic Beverages:  Available for purchase with drink ticket. Must be 21 and show valid ID in exchange for a wristband and access to the Sunken Garden area where alcoholic beverages are being served. Drink tickets are $4.00/each or a Premium Drink Card (14-punches) can be purchased for $50.00 ($6.00 savings).

1 ticket = 1 beer OR 2 tickets = 1 cocktail/wine

14 punches = 14 beers OR 7 cocktails/wine

Drink tickets/Premium Drink Cards can only be purchased at the event with a valid ID

 

VIP:  VIP access with reserved booths and bottle service available. Includes complimentary hors d'oeurves and superior viewing. See above for details. Email vip@courthousejazz.com for reservations.

 

General Information : Parking can be found on adjacent streets as well as at the Granada Garage and City Lot on Anacapa Street

The upper lawn is open to all ages.  Blankets and low back lawn chairs are allowed.

The Sunken Garden area is open to 21 and over with valid ID.

The entire event is outdoors and uncovered so consider comfortable shoes and proper clothing.

Sorry, no pets please.

No smoking on the Courthouse grounds.

Alcohol is only permitted in the Sunken Garden and VIP Terrace areas. 

Purchasing food and beverage at the event is encouraged to help support this community event and make it available to the public free of charge.

Proceeds from Food, Beverage and VIP sales will go directly to the support of the featured non-profit.
